Description:

In Toronto Metropolitan University's (TMU)'s Electrical Engineering degree program, you'll delve into circuits, electronics and computer systems and explore how technology impacts people and society. Imagine - evolving electric vehicles, telecom networks and smart city technologies. In your first year, you'll learn engineering fundamentals, like calculus, physics and electric circuit analysis. As you progress, you'll study subjects such as electric and magnetic fields, energy conversion and control theory. In fourth year, your capstone design project will provide you with practical design and implementation experience and opportunities to participate in industry collaborative projects. The theory in every course is reinforced by lab experiments, giving you a competitive advantage entering the industry. You'll also have opportunities to gain experience through supervised research projects, optional paid co-op and student teams like TMU's Formula Racing Team.
